Catch us at Book Expo America Next Week

We'll be joining throngs of publishers, booksellers, librarians, bloggers, and other book lovers at the annual Book Expo America in New York City next week. At our booth there we'll be showcasing our top general interest titles. We'll also be giving away some galleys and we have a cool luggage tags, too. If you're going to BEA, please stop by our booth!

Also a musician, he writes firsthand account of the contradictory lives of New Orleans brass-band musicians. They are celebrated as cultural icons within the music scene; outside it, they are treated as faceless black males—subject to poverty, racial marginalization, and urban violence. We have a small number of galleys of this book to give away. Come early!

BEA is a New York event, so we're excited to have a book about the city this year.

Come by the booth for your luggage tags featuring The South Africa Reader and The Chile Reader.  As with all the World Readers, these two books are filled with documents about the history, literature, politics, and culture of South Africa and Chile, including many selections never before published in English.

Booksellers, we will have a show special if you place an order by June 14: 50% discount on backlist. There are no minimum quantities. One order per customer and you must place your order with a sales rep or with Sales Manager Michael McCullough.
