Duke University Press at the 2014 American Studies Association Annual Meeting

ASA BoothOur editors and marketing department staffers had a wonderful time in Los Angeles at the 2014 annual meeting of the American Studies Association meeting authors and editors. We threw a party for our new journal TSQ and gave away some great swag. And we were proud to have a part in the celebrations of the life of José Esteban Muñoz (who died last December) with a special issue of Social Text devoted to his work. For a great summary of what’s going on in the field of American Studies today, read this interview with ASA President Lisa Duggan in the Los Angeles Review of Books. Duggan is the author of Sapphic Slashers (2001). Enjoy these pictures of the conference and check out many more on our Facebook page. If you couldn’t make it to the conference, you can still check out our program ad and order books at the 30% conference discount.
