We have some terrific events coming up in November and December. First of all, next week, November 8-14 is University Press Week. We’ll be celebrating with a whole week of great blog posts including a contest, so be sure to come back here on Monday to check them out. For the first time ever, we’ll be sponsoring a Pop-Up University Press Bookstore here in Durham at our local indie The Regulator Bookshop. Head downstairs to browse and buy books from us, University of Georgia Press, University Press of Florida, University of Virginia Press, Wake Forest University Press, Columbia University Press, and University of California Press. And join us there for a reception on Friday, November 13 at 6 p.m. to celebrate University Press Week. It will be followed by a reading and signing by Ambassador James Joseph (see full details below).
We’ll be at a number of conferences this month. Please come by our booths at the Society for the Social Studies of Science, the National Women’s Studies Association, American Anthropological Association, African Studies Association, and American Academy of Religion. We’ll be selling books at 30% off, and if you can’t make it to the conferences, you can still get the discount!
Hope to see you at a conference or at one of the great author events below.
